Our Laundry room has very little space and is the most used room in the entire house.
The space available is perfect for this Vintage Suitcase Storage.
Although we have a coat closet it is located at the front of the house and we enter through the side door near the garage which is where the laundry room is located.
To sum it all up we needed a space to stick all of our coats, book bags, purses, mittens and hats, that we use daily and all the extras can be stored in the actual coat closet.
We love vintage suitcases. In fact, I have a little obsession. I like to imagine all the wonderful places they’ve been.
They also come in vibrant colors which are great for making things like gifts and pet beds.
But for my family, I decided to re-purpose a Vintage Suitcase in order to solve my storage issues.

Whitney, So glad. I know I had a pile the side w/out the handles and I always try to find a way to make something out of junk I have laying around. I hate throwing stuff out. Look at your local Goodwill. They are usually about $3.oo. Good Luck and let me know what you come up with.

I am a sucker for old vintage suitcases and I recently made a chair out of an old suitcase and it was a blast making. I definitely want to try and do this!! Love the website! 🙂
