The holiday season is the time of giving. But if you are like me it’s hard to think of gifts that are fun, easy and don’t cost an arm and a leg because after all there are a lot of people to give gifts to.
These salted hot chocolate ornament gifts are the perfect easy and delicious DIY gift. They can be given solo or in addition to a few other gifts. | Ingredients:
1 1/3 cups sugar 2/3 cups dark chocolate baking cocoa ½ cup powdered milk 1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips 1 ¼ cup salted caramel chips 1 ½ cup miniature marshmallows 5 tablespoons red decorating sugar |

Supplies: 5 clear ball ornaments 1 piece of patterned cardstock |

Let’s get started with this super easy DIY.
Step 1: Mix sugar, dark chocolate baking cocoa, powdered milk, and salt in a medium bowl until combined.
Step 2: Pour ½ cup cocoa mixture into the clear ball ornament using a funnel.

Step 3: Pour ¼ cup salted caramel chips into the ornament.
Step 4: Pour ¼ cup dark chocolate chips into the ornament.
Step 5: Fill remainder of space in the ornament with miniature marshmallows.
Step 6: Top with one tablespoon of red decorating sugar.
Step 7: Print gift tags and cut out each tag.
Step 8: Cut a piece of patterned cardstock slightly larger than the gift tag and glue the gift tag on top.

Step 9: Punch a hole in the corner of the gift tag
Step 10: Attach the tag to the top of the ornament with twine.
