And Smell Wonderful at the Same Time!
Don’t ya just hate it when you go to peel a sticker off and it comes off like half way?
Then you soak and scrub and scrape only to still have sticker residue left on there. After all, how do you scrape the sticker off your scraper?
Who would have thought that Citrus Splash Air Freshener,
YES, AIR FRESHENER, would Remove Adhesive in Seconds!
You can read all about this product at Amazon. It is made from 100% citrus extracts! Awesome!
(Oh, and the price featured here is for a 12 pack)
When I first discovered this, I went around the house finding every price sticker that I could to try it out on. Price Stickers are NOTHING. They just slide right off.
Then I remembered the Lucite turnabout that someone (not mentioning any names here) decided to decorate.
I wanted it to be clear again so I attempted to pull off the polka dot paper. Not a lot of success on this side.
The other side almost came off but left a lot of adhesive. NOT PRETTY and a scraping project to beat the band! Then I remembered the Citrus Splash.
I had used it the other day to clean the spray adhesive off my Feather Stencil and it had worked like MAGIC. But this was going to be a challenge I thought…
So I sprayed some on and waited a few seconds and …
It came right off! Citrus Splash like dissolves the adhesive folks! How exciting is this! Okay, but what about the other side?
The side with the paper still stuck on there…
Spray it on. Let it do it’s thing…I want you to LOOK! I was sooo excited that I had my husband make a video! I couldn’t even talk! I was speechless!
The Lucite Turn About is Clean Again and it didn’t take forever!!!!!
Thanks Citrus Splash!
Now, what do you need to de-stick?
Marisa Franca @ All Our Way says
Is this something you can purchase everywhere? What happens when you use it as an air freshener? If it hits a wall will the paint dissolve 🙂
Denise @Chaotically Creative says
Hey Marisa, I know that Lowes has this product. It smells wonderful as an air freshener and it does not dissolve paint. You just would not want to spray it directly on anything with varnish or that sort of thing.

That is awesome! Thanks for sharing this at Monday Funday!

I don’t know what I want to try and find first….the Citrus Splash or that awesome acrylic turnabout? Where ever did you find that?! Can already envision it in my craft room Ü
Lesley @Chaotically Creative says
Tracy,
I (Lesley) actually got it at a friends store that was closing she was getting rid of some of her fixtures. You might try Uline or another retailer supply store.

Awesome! Thanks so much! Citrus Spray is on my Lowes list ☺️

Wow. This would have come in handy years ago. Using a hair dryer never worked well.

Just wondering whether any air freshener would do the same job, as unfortunately I live in the UK and this product isn’t available here?

We haven’t tried any others but a few large merchandisers here in the states shared this secret with us so we are assuming it’s only this specific brand.

I bet any wood cleaner with orange oil in it would work.
Denise @Chaotically Creative says
I thought so too so I bought some and it did not work as well. I even tried a Citrus Desolver and it did not work as well. In fact, I have tried a lot of products over the years and nothing works as good as this.

I have a coffee table …very expensive one at that…that a gentleman set a HOT styrofoam filled with food on….and when he lifted the container….the white color from the styrofoam adhered to the table…to the touch it doesn’t feel like there is anything abnormal but, it just is annoying to look at…any suggestions? I actually have the same problem on two wood veneer tables.
Denise @Chaotically Creative says
I have not had this issue before, but if you go to Pinterest and search for How to remove white rings from furniture, there are some possible solutions there. Let’s us know if you find one that works!

I wonder if this will help me with wallpaper glue!?!? Am using a steamer for the paper but the residual sticky is left to be scrapped! Wish me luck!
Denise @Chaotically Creative says
Hi Cali, Citrus Splash is oily so it might leave a residual film on your sheet rock. Thanks so much for stopping by!
