We are no strangers to painted porches. After all Mom has her upstairs porch and her back porch painted. Her porches left a lot to be desired and with nothing more than some paint, materials and a stencil she transformed them in to a whimsical space. Check out her post on the Vintage Mop Bucket Water Feature!
We’ve started seeing several painted porches pop up around blogland lately! And they are GORGEOUS!
This porch by Katie at Creatively Living just makes my heart smile. It says “sit down, relax… stay a while.”
Don’t mind if I do!!
And it looks like her evergreens are thriving unlike the ones I killed… here’s how to kill an evergreen in case you were wondering.
My friend Dana’s decorative finish business, Bella Tucker Decorative Finishes, created the perfect rustic laid back atmosphere with this diamond floor pattern.
I see my chill spot right back there in the back …. yes on the swing!
And check out this painted floor… no it’s not a porch but I just couldn’t leave it out. I actually had the pleasure of seeing this floor in person and it is just as gorgeous in real life.
The colors and pattern on this floor create a calm and serene atmosphere… a perfect place to catch a nap.
What do you think of painted porches and floors?
Which one was your favorite?

Oh, I want a porch sooo bad! I have a walkway from my garage going in front of my house to the front door, but it is not a covered porch. Maybe someday . . . deep sigh.
Thanks for sharing!
