Every year our family goes to a local farm to enjoy their “pumpkin patch”. We go to enjoy the activities and to select our pumpkins for carving!
This week I was lucky enough to discover Lucky Ladd Farms with Jude’s preschool class. I have to say that this was one of the most organized and cleanest farms I have ever been to in my life. And believe it or not I’ve actually been to a lot of farms.
Lucky Ladd Farms is located in Eagleville, Tn which is about 15 minutes from where we live. If you live around the area this pumpkin patch is a must go!!
Parking is extremely organized! Prices for different packages are located at the gate. And get this, all of the porta potties have hand washing stations. Go ahead and say a little woohoo for that alone!!!
The selections of pumpkins, gourds, and other farm goods are spectacular. You see that beautiful red barn below, oh yeah! Inside of the red barn is an entire shop of gifts and goodies!!! Oh and some little hatchlings to enjoy!
You may want to select your pumpkins and haul them out to the car first because if your kids are like mine they will wear themselves out and won’t let you look at the end.
After your pumpkin selection the only challenge is to figure out what you and your family will do next. There are tons of awesome activites. We were guided through the corn maze first! So much fun! Then we enjoyed some time on the massive playground! We didn’t even get a chance to play on the giant checker board or the splash pad!
The playground includes a giant covered sandbox full of dried corn to play in, a bouncy ball coral, huge slides, small slides, playhouses, swings, a rubber ducky water race and much, much more!
The petting zoo area of Lucky Ladd Farms is quite large. There are tons of different farm animals to pet and feed .
One last stop through the big red barn to grab some last minute goodies and drinks.
Lucky Ladd Farms is an awesome pumpkin patch and we were so happy to have the morning to enjoy there. Remember to support your local farms this fall and take a trip out to your pumpkin patch.
