I have a BIG Dirty secret. My house gets dirty, really dirty.

We live in town and we have large trees. Need I say more…

I hate dirty gutters, almost as much as I hate dirty windows and windshields.

Okay, I hate them just as much. Dirty gutters are like ring around the collar or stained underarms on a shirt. and I really hate cleaning gutters.

I really don’t like cleaning anything that is miles over my head and I have to climb a ladder (or worse) to get to it.

And I really don’t like to go to all that trouble just to get something sorta clean. I want it REALLY clean. All the way clean.

We had them “cleaned” professionally once and I swear I could not even tell the difference.

Except the cobwebs were gone and I did not have to climb up and down on a ladder.

This is how you get gleaming gutters. Yep, it is this simple except the part where you have to get to them.

That’s not fun, unless you like heights and stretching.

I know my neighbors thing I am cuckoo and it’s possible that I really am…

I learned a long time again that gutters cannot be cleaned by water alone and by most cleaners as well .

409 is by far the most effective method that for cleaning gutters that I have ever used.

You can see that black mess start to melt away right after spraying it on.

When the car washing brush enters the picture, things really start getting clean.

A scrubby pad would work great as well. I just like to have that handle in case I run into a spider. Yikes!
