Have you ever ran your finger across the glass of your interior windshield? I did and discovered a nasty film. I tried everything to clean it, only to be disappointed in the results. This is not only a cleaning challenge, it is a safety issue. It is so hard to clean the inside of a windshield!!! Isn’t it!
Several years ago, I saw a commercial featuring an “As Seen On TV” product, the Windshield Wonder
It is rare that I am drawn to these ads, but the design made sense. I had contorted myself not only to clean the glass, but to reach the corners and the very bottom and top of the windshield. The inside angle of the windshield makes cleaning very awkward. The long handle and swiveled head on this product makes all the difference.
Here’s our Secret to Clean the Inside Windshield of your Car
I spied the product at Walmart and did not hesitate to purchase it. I was thrilled with the results! I was so excited that I demonstrated the product to everyone at work and they bought one too!
I bought a Windshield Wonder for all my kids that Christmas. My son Andrew, still uses his. He keeps it in his truck with a little spray bottle of water. It is no longer a big deal keeping your windshield clean and clear. You can even use it to clean foggy side mirrors.
When I decided to write this post, I checked at Walmart to see if they still carried the product and sadly they do not. I set out to search for a replacement. The one featured above was purchased at Big Lots for just $3.00. It is a little lighter and smaller than the Windshield Wonder, but the design is very similar and very affordable. You can buy it here on Amazon Windshield Wonder
After you clean the exterior windows of your car, with our Window Washing technique, just spritz a little water on the microfiber pad and clean those interior ones. It is great for cleaning those sticky gooey fingerprints from kids as well as those doggie “kisses” left behind. It is amazingly easy, inexpensive, green and portable.

This looks like it would work like a charm. It’s so hard reaching down and I think if I kept it close by I’d actually keep my car windows a lot cleaner!

Hi Shauna, it does work like a charm. I don’t see well at night anyway, and a clean windshield really helps. Let us know if you try it out.
