Sometimes Easy Halloween Decor is the best solution… For years and years I have made the large majority of our seasonal decor.
Like last years jeweled pumpkins.
And our Monster Gallery Wall.
But this year…. I am tired…
EXHAUSTED in fact.
So in an attempt to stop keeping up with the Blogging Joneses… I have taken a step back from Holiday Decor. At least a little.
And what little DIY DECOR I have created has been so super easy.
This year I have opted to purchase some fun decor and jazz it up with moss…
LOTS of MOSS.
Because moss makes everything look creepy.
And I love it.
I also used some of our pre-owned decor and spooked it up a little with moss.
I’m loving this Halloween banner. And although I could have whipped one up and photographed it and shared it with you guys. I took the easy way out and bought it for about $9.
And it makes me happy that this was one less project on my list.
Because I am tired and I honestly don’t even care if my house looks perfectly decorated for Halloween.
Because the funny things is…
these are all just photos….
To inspire you to be creative, to create calming spaces and to have spaces your family loves and enjoys.
But this is real life and as I try to inspire you…
I also want you to take the pressure off.
Sometimes we have to step away from Pinterest and all the comparisons and do what makes us happy.
Like stuffing moss in every crevice that you an find.
Try it.. I promise it’s fun.
Or just let go and be silly with your decor and not care what others think.
And let go over perfection... because life is for living
NOtT WORRYING!
And remember that all these Perfect Pictures you see on blogs and Pinterest are only what “we” want to show you.
Real life is what we often edit out so that we can inspire.
But sometimes the biggest inspiration of all may be seeing the stuff we cut out.
