That’s Jude, hiding in our preschool bathroom getting ready to surprise two lucky teachers with Big Green Boxes from Swiffer!
We decided to surprise teachers because we know how they appreciate anything that helps in their classroom and that is given to them!!

His teacher was super happy to receive a BIG GREEN BOX. And to have all the tools to keep a tidy classroom. In her Big Green Box she received a Swiffer mop, Swiffer wet clothes, Swiffer dry clothes, Swiffer duster and duster refills.
Yes, the teachers do some cleaning… however at our school we teach our kids to clean.
In fact we have 15 classroom jobs and now Swiffer Helper is on the list of jobs that one lucky kid gets to do each day.

We do this at home too! Jude loves to Swiffer at our house and chores are great for creating independent children.
I agree with teaching kids to help — it is great for them and for mom or teacher as well. I always let the kids help in the kitchen and around the house. Yard work the same way. I agree with you Swiffer is great!!
Awesome. Some people think kids should be kids and i agree to a certain extent. But they need opportunities outside of play which help them achieve and build new skills.
What a great idea- ‘Swiffer Helper’!love it, and wish I’d though of it when I was teaching. Swiffing is more fun and easier than sweeping!IthinkI’ll use this weekend to teach my 1st-grade son to use the swiffer- thx for the idea!
