I can’t even tell you in words how much I actually love this bookshelf from Sauder! Not only was the ordering, delivery and assembly seamless, I am still just in shock at how amazing this piece looks in our eating area.
I wanted a piece of furniture that could be versatile. I originally had a small dresser here but it didn’t look all that great. This piece is located next to the back door and since it is tall it really fits well and draws the eye up.

This may be my favorite way to style the Barrister Lane Collection tall shelf. Using white dishes, mason jars and milk bottles gives this shelf a casual and elegant look.
Using a monochromatic color scheme creates a cohesive look. Adding a little pop of green breaks up all that white.
The label holders were perfect for this shelving style. My kids will know exactly where the dishes belong and labels encourage literacy.
Do you have a huge butlers pantry? Okay if you said yes, I’m jealous. We have a small pantry and in fact it often is hard to fit everything in that pantry. Using baskets on a bookshelf is a prefect solution for food storage.
Adding rustic accessories gives the shelves a whole different look. Although rustic, I think this is the most sophisticated look.
You don’t have to spend a lot on decor. All of the items on my shelves were items I found around my house. And most of those originally came from thrift stores, like this Paris
