We love dinner!
But wow is it ever a challenge sometimes!
Between time restrictions, dietary restrictions and being exhausted at the end of a busy day, often we end up in the drive through or take out.
Dinner is hard and we are constantly on the prowl for solutions for easy home cooked meals and you probably are in the same boat…
These yummy pork loin pitas are one great solution we discovered while looking for a break from chicken and turkey.
Nothing says welcome home like the aroma of this Smithfield Pork Sirloin roasting in the kitchen. It is tummy growling good….
Yes, it is pork and it is healthy and delicious!
I pick them up at my local Walmart on the way home from work. Sometimes I fix it that night or crock pot it the next day.
Oh and there are seven different flavors of this amazing Smithfield Marinated Pork for you to choose from!
SEVEN!!!!
Now that gives you options!
It is perfectly marinated and seasoned and can be grilled or roasted, served casually or all gussied up! Check out the Smithfield Website for more recipes.
You don’t have to pick up any spices or marinade. just your favorite sides. This time of year fresh apples would be delicious served with the pitas.
I cook my pork until it begins pulling apart. If I am roasting it in the oven, I wrap it completely in aluminum foil to keep all the juices in.
Shred the pork and get out the pitas! Getting hungry yet?
Add some crunchy freshness with some broccoli coleslaw mixed with Greek Yogurt Cream Cheese.
You just HAVE to try broccoli coleslaw if you haven’t already. It is delicious… Most grocery stores have it in the produce section already made up.
Add your favorite sides for a yummy home cooked meal on the porch or patio.
and just think….
No recipe necessary. No ingredients to rack your tired brain to remember.
Simple, Healthy, Fresh and Full of Flavor!
A good dinner and time to spare on the porch!

I discovered this cream cheese awhile back. It has less fat than the regular. It’s great to spread on toast, celery and on sandwiches.

Nice! Makes me hungry lol! We don’t have smithfields in our area, maybe we can use an alternative? Btw, thanks for the yogurt tip 😉
