DIY Seed Tape, where have you been my entire life? You know, I love to garden and I am always seeking ways to make it easier, because it is hard, dirty and frustrating work. One of the crops that I love to grow is radishes and they always come up too close together. The seeds are like teeny tiny and hard to sow. I have seen the seed tape that can be purchased but just didn’t want to spend the extra money. When I visited the P&Geveryday website to choose a topic to blog about, I squealed in delight when I clicked on the gardening section and found 5-Step DIY Seed Tape.

I also save heirloom seeds and see this as an awesome way to do it. When planting time comes, all I will need to do is clip a section containing the seed to start my seeds indoors.
It just so happens that I picked up a package of carrot seeds to plant in the fall when I was at the hardware stone. These seeds are very tiny so, I will definitely be making these easy 5-Step DIY Seed Tape.
Look at this! The materials needed are things you probably have around the house. Paper towels, flour, a ruler, a small paint brush, a pencil and of course seeds. I am ready to roll with this DIY.
So easy when planting time comes around. They also suggested rolling these up and placing in an empty cheese wheel carton to give as gifts to your gardener friends. I know I would love to get seeds as a gift!
