Welcome to Chaotically Creative!!! My name is Lesley and my life is just like yours…. full of chaos. Balancing motherhood, work, and other obligations can be challenging, I know first hand. But I have a secret, I truly believe that through Decorating, DIY projects and Design we can all make our lives just a little less chaotic.
With a background in Early Childhood Education, I stress the importance of well planned and inspiring spaces for young children. As a self taught decorator I know that spaces that are organized and well designed provide a calming atmosphere for the whole family to relax and enjoy.

We have found that blogging has been a fun way to keep us motivated and constantly inspired and in fact it’s brought us even closer together. Hi, my name is Denise. My most precious creations, 5 children and 3 grandchildren know me as Mom. I live in East Tennessee in the historical district of Harriman. I am a lifetime DIY enthusiast and I love sharing my experiences, most of which are quite chaotic and entertaining. Having lots of children, pets and multiple moves, I have become a specialist in creating a beautiful and functioning environment, whatever or wherever it may be. I use creativity, ingenuity and a big dose of determination to seek out the most affordable solutions in home beautification, organization, gardening and pet management. My philosophy is to obtain only the things that you really love and use them until they wear out. The best advice given to me by a professional decorator is, “A home that evolves, filled with beloved things acquired over time, is much more cherished than one professionally decorated all at once.
